Set Rules to Filter Emails in your Gmail Account

If you want to manage the incoming mail in your Gmail account, then you can easily do that by setting the rules for doing so. First of all, you are supposed to create a filter, so the steps for creating a filter are mentioned below;

  • You are required to first move to the search box in your Gmail account.

  • If you are creating a filter to the forward messages, then the filters are only applicable to the new messages not the old ones.

  • After doing so, you are required to choose the more option and then you have to choose the “filter message like these” option.
  • You are required to then describe the filter criteria that you want to create.

In case, you want to delete the filters, then you are supposed to just move to the see all settings option in Gmail account and there, you can simply select filters and blocked addresses.
